About Bob

Bob Parker – entrepreneur, inspiring leadership, growing people and businesses.

Commercial acumen

With a background in sales, financial services and training, Bob led global wellness brand, Forever Living Products in the UK, Ireland and Iceland as Country Manager for over 25 years.  During this time he took the territories to No.1 in the World for two consecutive years, with 60% growth year on year, and an annual turnover in excess of £130 million.

Bob’s commercial passion and innate sense of what will take a business forward started to emerge while still at school. Outside of his studies he ran a successful mobile DJ business and two thriving market stalls. By the time Bob left school he was earning more than his teachers and possibly, the Headmaster.

He began his professional career in financial services and then started his own brokerage age 23. In 1985 he created a sales training business under the umbrella of a Design and PR company to support clients seeking help in developing sales expertise. On leaving that role, and over the next nine years he successfully developed, marketed and delivered sales training courses throughout the UK.

Passionate about sales, people and business, Bob is a natural networker and connector of people.  In 2009 Bob became the youngest member to be inducted into the Direct Selling Association’s ‘Hall of Fame’.

Speaking

Bob is a charismatic speaker helping to inspire and develop individuals and teams to peak performance. He’s a great proponent of goal setting, the importance of mindset, and has an in-depth understanding of how to help others overcome blocks in their thinking and behaviour.  With warmth and humour he has a relaxed style that immediately puts people at their ease. He works with sales teams, individuals and senior executives seeking to develop positive, productive and sustainable cultures.

Leadership/Mentoring

Bob helps both individuals and teams to develop their leadership skills; with authenticity and enthusiasm. He has an in-depth understanding of the skills and qualities that are fundamental in helping others to fulfill their potential.  With an empathetic, practical approach he helps individuals to unleash their unique qualities and abilities. Like all great leaders Bob understands the importance of leading from the front and, by example.

Bob is an avid reader, enjoys playing golf and is a keen skier. He also enjoys the roller coaster of being a Manchester United football supporter.
